Admittedly, and I've probably mentioned this a thousand times before, but summer weather is not for me. To reflect my preference my wardrobe now contains fleeces, 3/4 zips, maybe five coats and a lot of pairs of trousers. A lot. This collection greatly outweighs any summer clothing I've ever bought. What items I do own (old dresses from when I was 18 and the odd bodycon skirt - I know) have made their way to the back of my drawers to only be found when I realise that 25 degrees is in fact too hot for black combat trousers and a sweatshirt.

Four days ago someone told me it was the Christmas equinox. I'm not sure if that's an actual term or just something they said, but we're officially halfway through the year. Hallelujah, music to my ears. Give me Love Actually, a hot chocolate, homemade mince pies and I'll be curled up on the sofa on a Sunday afternoon living my best life.

(putting this post together has made me realise that if I could, I would wear the same clothes all year round)

I haven't done a review in agesssss. These shoes are basically a fully integrated part of my wardrobe now but I wanted to talk about them anyway. I bought these two months ago last week (a little random fact I discovered whilst skimming through my emails looking for the dispatch notice) when Nike was doing 20% off for students. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I nearly opted for the 95s but I wanted to go for something a little different.

I'm happy to say these required no breaking in, are so easy to wear and look great on foot. For me, they seem slightly less chunky than 95s in comparison and I found them a little tricky to style initially as well, but only because I wasn't used to to the silhouette of the shoe. The perfect outfit combo I've found though is black leggings, an oversized black t-shirt/pullover and black ankle socks (so just what I wear every day anyway haha)

They're so comfy and squishy - I recommend picking up a pair to add to any wardrobe!

It's been nearly two months since I sat down and wrote anything on here. In amongst university deadlines, work and life in general, I completely lost track of time - before I knew it June was already underway! In an attempt to remember the past eight weeks I've quickly gone back through the camera roll on my phone to try and jog my memory.

Quick roundup:
I went to the London Nike on Air event in Shoreditch - literally can't believe I never posted about that oh my god that feels like it ages ago (was super cool, I hope I can go next year)
Bought some Nike TNs (it was between those and a pair of 95s but I went with the TNs, very comfy but I'm still getting used to the silhouette on foot)
Had my first ever filling after cracking a tooth :-(

anndddd there is basically nothing on my phone apart from screenshots of songs I've been listening to and photos of mango smoothies from Pret... but I swear, hand on heart, it has been a busy couple of months. I had my final uni deadline for this term last week hence the real reason behind my disappearing act. (It wasn't my final final deadline, but like the penultimate one) I now just have my major project to work on for the duration of summer. Eeee where have the past 10 months gone I can't believe it.

~ oh, I recently bought Glossier's lash slick and it's very good, arguably the best mascara I've had in ages. I just need them to release an eyeliner ASAP because I'm having real difficulty finding a good one ~

Other things:
The Glossier solution that's meant to help with spots etc has honestly saved my skin omg it's 10/10
I bought some combat trousers off eBay the other day and it's slightly too warm to wear them right now but I'm excited to style them nonetheless (I've gone from literally owning a pair of jeans and leggings to now having a whole array of trouser options to choose from!)
ALSO, I bought some cycling/legging shorts - I know they're a thing right now I'm just hoping these look okay on!
