Currently eating a bowl of Alpen and watching Ibiza Weekender with my brothers. Nothing like binge watching TV - admittedly I watched 6 episodes of this last night and I think i'm hooked.
Today I wore: A cropped sweatshirt from Brandy Melville, Leggings from Topshop and a pair of Nike Air Max 2017s

I think my love for winter comes from my want to layer up clothing all the time. So you know, if you're wearing jeans with a t-shirt add a jumper, then add a jacket and co-ordinate with a bag and gloves and maybe even a wooly hat. Ideally in the future I'd love to own loads and loads of different jackets. They look great just thrown over your shoulders, worn fully zipped up and obviously layered with a hoodie you can't go wrong. I was actually looking for the Patta Varisty jacket from their winter collection in 2012 but came across this instead.
Like I said weeks and weeks AND weeks ago, i'm having a wardrobe crisis. I think that's a result of finishing uni and not really knowing what i'm doing. Because of this transition - I hate all my clothes. Well not allllll my clothes, but you know when you get dressed and you're like "okay what was I thinking when I bought this?" and then you cycle through that thought pattern with everything you own. Following a desire to branch into more colourful clothing items - at least colourful key items, i've fallen in love with this reversible jacket from Patta. The reverse side is kind of like this teal blue with a simple logo embroidered into the fabric. I however love the orange side and all the different patches. I tried to collect patches when I was in America on holiday once, there are sooo many cool ones out there. Needless to say the collection didn't go as planned.

this was an in-store exclusive in Amsterdam so I don't really know where I can get my hands on it.
If anyone knows, plz let me know!!

I might just start calling these Monday summaries as I never get around to posting them on a Sunday, so for that I apologise. I'm also watching Sex and The City and wishing I had a carton of orange juice or that I was sat in a diner at 11pm eating pancakes.
So as you guys know, I was in London last week for two days (as in previous post) so a lot of my time was spent preparing for that. As funny as it sounds I actually watched Devil Wears Prada and Dior and I to get me geared up for an interview I was having. If you've read my earlier posts you'll know that Dior and I is possibly one of my favourite films of all time, if not my favourite film.

I heard on the news the other day that yesterday was going to be the hottest day in June since 1976. To be honest it definitely felt like it was. In defence of myself I possibly didn't dress appropriately for the weather (black long sleeve top, cord skirt, ankle boots - big mistake, the blisters oh god the blisters) but I was doing something important and wanted to look professional. I was able to cool down after buying a smoothie from Pret but then had to use the tube to get across London. It was unbearably warm even when I opted for the Jubilee Line. Genuinely unbearable.
As you can tell from my photos I met up with Emily and we had dinner in St James's Park. It was absolutely beautiful, the light last night was simply stunning. I'm glad I took a change of clothes with me - the black playsuit from H&M - such a bargain and so comfy.
As I was staying with my brother and he had the day off work today we went into Barnes for lunch at this little place called Gail's. Really cute and they have great plastic cutlery fyi.

After clearing through my room I rediscovered so many of my lost possessions. When I was 17 I started collecting cameras - actually unknowingly collecting them. Now I have a shelf completely dedicated to all my photography bits and bobs. This camera (above, a Polaroid One600 Film Camera) I got for my birthday ages and ages ago. After finding George Muncey on YouTube via his NegativeFeedback channel, I've felt a sudden need to go out and work on film. For some reason, the polaroid film is legit extortionate. I don't know why. You get 8 exposures for £20... £20.
...£20
Nonetheless I am keen to start up some photography on the side. I'm off into the City again towards the end of the week and I might take my favourite OM1 camera with me... however it is set to be 32 degrees in London tomorrow...
Impossible Film / UO / £20
I'm also in the process of making a cup of tea. God knows why in this weather.

OKAY IT IS SO HOT. I know this is really obvious but oh my god - legit I am sweating as I write this. If you have been reading my blog for a while you will know that I prefer the winter months. Why wouldn't I? This sticky heat is unbearable. That's not true actually, it'd bearable if I was sat dangling my feet into a pool whilst drinking a cocktail through a curly straw - but i'm not. Having recently moved all of my belongings from Edinburgh to my home, I realised that I have become the proud owner of a large amount of sweatshirts, long sleeve t-shirts and cropped hoodies all which now have no purpose whatsoever.
Here are my top picks to keep you cool this summer

Okay - so I picked this up in size? about, I don't know, 3 weeks ago? Since my final project at university, I've sort of begun a mini collection of publications I like and this is making it's way to one of the top that I have in my possession. I also recently bought Cereal Volume 13 and for me, personally, I love the layout and feel of their earlier magazines - but we'll get into that in a different post.
Spaces in-between is a first issue FREE magazine that you can get in store today (well I assume you still can) at size? It's a beautifully made publication from start to finish and I think it's actually produced by TCO London - who have a really rad website and make a tonne of amazing products for big brands. I literally still can't believe it's free. The layout, the edit on the photos, the attention to detail. I don't want to talk about the content too much and give anything away! I always find it's nicer to get a publication and then make you're own mind up about it. I do however, think it's a great magazine and such an asset to anyone interested in streetwear. I hope sharing a few snippets of it is enough to give you the incentive to go out and get your hands on one if you still can!
I think i'm going to keep doing more posts on publications that I like seeing as I have so many in my collection now!

Bomber Jacket // Acne Studios // £510
Unquestionably out of my graduate-now-living-at-home budget, I am in love with this bomber jacket. I know I always talk about how I never wear colour, but i'm trying to change that I promise! I recently found my mum's old Max Mara denim skirt during my graduate-now-living-at-home clear out of my room. I think this could look really cute with a white long sleeve top tucked into the skirt paired with some suede ankle boots or something. Just a cool summer evening with this jacket over your shoulders. A girl can dream.

1. As uni is so far from home, I had to send all my stuff back in boxes using Uni Baggage - would recommend as my stuff all turned up 2 days later! so good (not even sponsored)
2. I'm back home now, had the nicest uber journey across London on Wednesday
3. Need a night out in London soon
4. Cocktails at The Toy Shop in Putney - soooo good
5. Wolfgang Tillmans Exhibition at Tate Modern
6. The weather in London tho can we just
I've been home for maybe 5 days? and have yet to fully unbox all my stuff. I'm preparing to have a massive clear out tomorrow, I think I need a skip. In the mean time i've been trying to get my life in order. My younger brother and I managed to watch the first season of Game of Thrones in 1 day yesterday which I think is quite impressive.

I'm currently watching Sex and the City whilst eating Sainbury's basics tortilla chips. Despite only just being 22 I'm finding it very relatable. I also do not know why I am only watching this now... So much TV out there that needs watching, so little time. Anyway, yesterday afternoon I got the train into the City to see my older brother, Tom (these chips i'm eating right now really need some salsa dip). He lives in Barnes and we decided to go for drinks in Putney at the Toy Shop with his girlfriend, Hannah. We went during happy hour and 12 cocktails later it's safe to say I was feeling better about my 360 life situation.
Today I went into central to see the Wolfgang Tillmans exhibition at Tate Modern. It's only on for a few more days so I'm super glad I got into London to see it. It's £10 if you're a student and as I am for one more month, I took advantage of this situation. I feel like I want to get more into photography and this definitely influenced that, the scale of the images was really cool too. The weather in London was so warm today and I was not dressed appropriately. I got a mango passionfruit smoothie from Pret to help with the heat- by far the best cold drink option out there.
I am now excruciatingly tired and have more Sex and the City to watch.

Ok, admittedly, super long time no speak. My bad. So much has happened between my last post and now, it genuinely feels like my life has done a full 360. It's rained a lot today and I made the mistake of venturing outside so i'm definitely going to get sick, my hair still isn't dry. I'm currently in bed eating quinoa with peas and feta out of a saucepan, so I guess this is what it means to be an almost graduate. I'm heading home tomorrow and i'm having to box everything up. It's a really emotional process but i'm ready for the next chapter of my life.
Anyway, in other news, you guys know how much I love publications, the other day I found the YouTube channel Negative Feedback run by George Muncey. Personally I love film photography and went through a phase of always trying to capture images that way. I have my Granddad's OM1 sat on my shelf which I really should use more. Moving on, I love his videos and photography style, it's very beautiful and clean. I'll link a video below of him talking about the publication he made, A Portrait of Venice. Unfortunately I think his zine is sold out but Negative Feedback issue 2 can be bought on his store.
