Vans // Black // £52

Oh my life, I am frozen. Only 2 out of 5 of us in the flat want the heating on so we are currently waiting to see who will turn into an ice cube first. Until then I will take a hot water bottle to bed with me for warmth. I also blame my runny nose and croaky voice on the lack of heat at home. Pity party for one. In other news, I had a small amount of money left over from working this summer and decided to treat myself to a few items of clothing (as well as like 14 Pumpkin Spice Lattes a week).

I’ve always being undecided about bodysuits. I either find hundreds online that I like but then assume will never suit me, or I try one on and find it compresses my body so I look like I have no boobs at all. I’ve trained core a lot over summer so I opted to buy 30 new crop tops to show that off. However, I’ve caved in now and bought an American Apparel bodysuit. When it arrived in the post I proudly held it up to my flatmates, at which point one of them said “what is that going to cover??” - so it is a lot more skimpy than I imagined. That being said, it is very flattering and sexy, and not for the faint hearted. I feel I should’ve started at the shallow end with bodysuits and bought something which covered me a bit more, but I’ve jumped in at the deep end with no going back. I’m going to a party tomorrow night, so i’ll wear it with my black American Apparel disco pants and channel Sandy from Grease.

The Vans are Old Skools to replace my beloved broken ones. My previous pair lasted me three years and are by far my favourite pair of shoes I own. I will probably continue to wear Vans forever. I even used to rock those ultra chunky Vans when I was a kid. Yeah, I was that kid haha.

So, i’m feeling super sorry for myself and am probably going to walk to Wagamamas shortly because I literally need some gyoza. Hope everyone is having good weeks, and if you're feeling sick like me, I hope you get better.
