American Apparel Rib Bodysuit // Black // £33
Vans // Black // £52
Oh my life, I am frozen. Only 2 out of 5 of us in the flat want the heating on so we are currently waiting to see who will turn into an ice cube first. Until then I will take a hot water bottle to bed with me for warmth. I also blame my runny nose and croaky voice on the lack of heat at home. Pity party for one. In other news, I had a small amount of money left over from working this summer and decided to treat myself to a few items of clothing (as well as like 14 Pumpkin Spice Lattes a week).
I’ve always being undecided about bodysuits. I either find hundreds online that I like but then assume will never suit me, or I try one on and find it compresses my body so I look like I have no boobs at all. I’ve trained core a lot over summer so I opted to buy 30 new crop tops to show that off. However, I’ve caved in now and bought an American Apparel bodysuit. When it arrived in the post I proudly held it up to my flatmates, at which point one of them said “what is that going to cover??” - so it is a lot more skimpy than I imagined. That being said, it is very flattering and sexy, and not for the faint hearted. I feel I should’ve started at the shallow end with bodysuits and bought something which covered me a bit more, but I’ve jumped in at the deep end with no going back. I’m going to a party tomorrow night, so i’ll wear it with my black American Apparel disco pants and channel Sandy from Grease.
The Vans are Old Skools to replace my beloved broken ones. My previous pair lasted me three years and are by far my favourite pair of shoes I own. I will probably continue to wear Vans forever. I even used to rock those ultra chunky Vans when I was a kid. Yeah, I was that kid haha.
So, i’m feeling super sorry for myself and am probably going to walk to Wagamamas shortly because I literally need some gyoza. Hope everyone is having good weeks, and if you're feeling sick like me, I hope you get better.

Currently hungover in the kitchen with a bowl of Cheerios and a glass of squash feeling extremely sorry for myself.
I’ve been back at university just over a week creating a design agency with other students from my course. As we are now fourth years we get to design mini companies and employ people from the years below to work on projects with us. It’s an exciting challenge but also soo much work, we have to put it together in 2 days! That has been our main project so far, aside from dissertation stuff that i’m unusually calm about.
Other than that, I’ve been drunk twice, yet to vomit, nearly watched the entire first season of Hannibal (amazing by the way), managed to keep going to the gym, and am eating a diet largely consisting of carbs.
I’m feeling really excited for Christmas. I think it might be my favourite time of the year, I don't know why i’m thinking about that, I drank a whole bottle of wine last night I need to lie down.

Its reached that time of year again when everyone is trying to find a new coat for winter. It’s slightly too late to buy a jacket, everyone is getting ready for Christmas and they’d rather sell you tinsel than something warm. I’ve comfortably lived in my bomber jacket for the past 6 months and as it gets chillier I’ve put a jumper underneath for added warmth, but i’ve never known a winter as cold as Edinburgh. I’m talking tights under jeans cold.
Now, there are a lot of bad coats out there and i’m not sure why. With a jacket I think it’s best to opt for a neutral colour so it never really goes out of style, such as black. I know I always, always wear black but it makes the whole process of getting dressed in the morning so much less stressful. I bought a Nuptse off eBay over summer which was the perfect buy and i'm over the moon with it. I find shopping on places like Depop and eBay so hit and miss but when you find the right thing it's such a good feeling! I really love the shape of puffer jackets at the moment. My North Face coat sits on my waist and really shows off my figure.

So if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know I went and did a mini photoshoot with my good friend Emily. I felt like my blog was lacking a lot of personal photos and was just generally becoming a cycle of me talking about the gym and work - I lost a lot of momentum with it! However, it’s a new semester, I’m back in Edinburgh and I really want to give this everything I’ve got now (on top of my dissertation and final year but I’ll start stressing about that on Monday instead!)
We went to one of the multi-storey car parks in Reading near where we both live and took some cool pictures. I’m no model but i’m so happy with the result! Emily is ultra talented and i’m so glad we finally got around to doing it!

I feel really awful because it’s been ages since i’ve posted anything of interest. I’ve worked all summer long, like literally all summer. I’ve bought the same things I always do for my wardrobe, only now I’ve incorporated activewear into it because I’ve committed to exercising 4 times a week. I haven't undergone a life changing break, i’m just hurtling towards my graduation at an unnerving speed.
I took a rather spontaneous trip up to Edinburgh, resulting in me missing last weeks Bake Off… tragic. Term starts in two weeks so I was a bit like ‘why am I doing this now?’ but it was actually much needed. The calm before the storm if you will. The weather was lovely.
I went for a few drinks with some good friends which was incredibly civilised and mature. No screw cap wine, no puking in the street, just a casual catch up at a bar. I’m sure the screw cap wine and puking in the street will rear its head soon enough though. I bought some Levi jeans which fit like a glove - and I’m holding off on some Vans which i’m desperate for. I also nearly cried in Starbucks when I saw that Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back. I wish they never went away but I guess that’s what makes them truly special.
