Day out in London

Sunday, 12 June 2016

I felt like the Jeff Koons exhibition deserved its own post - and I had tonnes of pictures from that I wanted to share separately so here is a different post but about London! I had to quickly write down all the stuff we did when I got home as we literally walked so far and I was so tired that I nearly forgot. After the Jeff Koons exhibition we decided to go on the hunt for some food, I really love The Breakfast Club so we ended up at the Soho cafe. However, fate intervened and the queue was literally 4 miles long. We went to this pizza place on Dean Street instead called Pizza Pilgrims and guys, like, it was so delicious. We both had the salami pizza and it was out of this world - I was genuinely full all day.

After that we both agreed that we would like to go find some Boris Bikes and have a little cycle. We walked down from Soho to Piccadilly Circus and then headed for Regents Park. It suddenly got really dark and then absolutely chucked it down out of nowhere. We decided to hide from the weather in Westfield at Shepherds Bush (update, you can't get mini pancakes there anymore) so I had a red velvet cupcake instead. We then went back for dinner at The Breakfast club (take 2) but I was so full from the pizza I only had poached eggs on toast. The eggs there are soooo good, I don't understand how they get them so perfectly runny on the inside and so delicious on the outside too!
