I fully think that wearing loungewear to university would be incredible. A key thing to remember here is that it all instantly matches (I wear a lot of black and grey so yes, ok, it all matches anyway, but this fully matches). Gone would be the days of struggling to dress in a freezing cold flat mid January when you just want to sellotape your duvet to yourself.
These two are the end product of searching for ages on google for a 'plain loungewear set'.
The top set is a Brandy Melville number in pale pink:
andddd the bottom nude set is from Baserange but I tracked them down through Goodhood:
I'm hoping that when the winter months come back in September, I can wear a full loungewear set to my lectures. I know it'll be the comfiest thing ever!

The Breakfast Club is life // Gif Source |
It's literally a bank holiday for the entire world apart from my university. I was just sat working with some of my friends and got to thinking, do you ever get really happy when you realise where your life is at? Okay, okay, I know I complain a lot. I know a lot of the time i'm crying in my room watching The Notebook and drinking £4 wine but I really do love it here. I have no idea what i'm going to do in the future, I have no idea what i'm going to do when I graduate and I don't even know what i'm going to do tomorrow.
So lets raise a glass to being completely clueless.
I put together a small playlist of songs for those nostalgic moments, enjoy!
Vienna - Billy Joel
Forever Young - Youth Group
Everywhere - Fleetwood Mac
Don't You Forget About Me - Simple Minds
Grease (From Grease Soundtrack) - Frankie Valli
Time After Time - Cyndi Lauper

Looking ahead to the summer months, I decided to pull a few pieces together that i'd like to get my hands on for any festivals and long nights. I know a puffer coat seems weird in July but partnered with a crop top, high waisted shorts, socks pulled up high and a pair of beaten up trainers, you're ready to boogie the night away. We all know those English summer evenings aren't ever as hot as we hope.
1. T-Shirt // Lazy Oaf
(now sold out as far as i'm aware!)
2. Raincoat // Hunter
3. Puffer // GAP
4. Jacket // Urban Outfitters
5. Skirt // Urban Outfitters
6. T-Shirt // Brandy Melville
7. Bralet // Nicce
8. Shorts // American Apparel
I purchased the Nicce Bralet the other day and i'm excitedly waiting for it to come in the post. I'm hoping it will push me to go outside over my summer break. I tend to spend my time sat in my room with the window open, sleeping or watching films missing most of the sunshine. I can safely say I've never had a tan, ever. Maybe this is my year, maybe this is my moment.
Fingers crossed!

After seeing a couple of images on Instagram of people wearing the GCDS Patch Bodysuit, I figured I had to find the brand and check them out properly. I came across their Patches Bomber Jacket (photo above) and instantly fell in love. At a cool £490, it's very much out of my student budget but nonetheless it is a piece i'd love to own one day and see hanging in my wardrobe.

So glad I found this brand, and i'll be lusting after this jacket for a while!

I haven't stopped wearing my Air Force 1's all week so I apologise for the amount of posts involving them. This is the last one I promise. I thought i'd just quickly talk about a casual university outfit as my academic year is winding down. I'll soon return to wearing pyjamas everyday and there will be no outfit posts.

Does anyone have a massive issue with black jeans and them fading? Fair enough i've had these 3 years or so but they almost go a kind of greyish colour. My friend even messaged me the other day asking where my grey jeans were from...
In other exciting news, I went to see 10 Cloverfield Lane last night. I haven't seen the first Cloverfield which probably would've helped give me some background understanding to the film buttttttt it was super good! Fully recommend it if you're into jumpy, thriller, scaryish stuff. It's very tense and sometimes I feel like seeing movies at the cinema heightens that you know?
So yeah, totally go see it if you get the chance.

After receiving an email from Topshop today about the bodysuit being back in for spring summer 2016, I decided to put together an outfit including one. The weather here is pretty on and off - switching between it being too hot for a coat or me needing to wear multiple jackets at once. I thought spring was supposed to have officially sprung?
The outfit contains a bomber jacket I tried on in Topshop when I was in London. It's a lot more meshy (is that a word) it's a lot more mesh-like than it appears in the photos online, like a bag you'd put in the washing machine. I really like that aspect though and I badly wanted to get it at the time. I was too torn between the khaki one or the black one (it comes in grey too). It has a more summery feel than the other bomber jackets at Topshop and it would look really cute paired with a bikini at the beach too. Super versatile. Links are below for the items:
Given the current weather situation i'd probably wear this with tights and all black air force 1's. This could easily work without tights and with chelsea boots or white trainers though for a more spring feel if it's like summer where you are.

So I figured after watching 14 hours of House on Netflix today I needed to stop and go into the kitchen and speak to people. (This is an over exaggeration, mum if you're reading this I have eaten today). It's quite late on a Saturday night and being the stereotypical student I am, i'm home making pancakes.
Anyway, the recipe is based on what mum taught me when I was younger:
100g plain flour
2 eggs
and like literally, how much milk you want till it resembles something like a thick soup
and a pinch of salt
mum tip: cooking the pancake in oil and butter makes for a crispier pancake <3
You wanna put some oil in a frying pan and set it to a high heat. I can't really explain this bit but you'll know when it's right to put the batter in. Pancake intuition. I don't know how to flip pancakes either so I just use a spatula, that's how you know what size to make the pancake. Just pour it out so there is enough to flip. Keep checking the bottom so it doesn't burn, the first one is tricky because the pan sometimes isn't totally super hot.
This should make about 3 pancakes for you which is a good amount if you're just eating alone. I know everyone goes for Nutella but you can't beat Lyle's Golden Syrup in my opinion. So good. I would pour it over most of my food. SO GOOD.

The sweatshirt was a gift from my boyfriend so I felt bad hunting it down online to find the price. I adore it and it's so comfy. The zips down the side have Acne Studios detailing and seem to be very durable. I love the silver detailing as it matches with my jewellery. It's perfect for me, such a staple piece for my wardrobe now. The sleeves are slightly longer than my arms and I occasionally roll them up if i'm wearing a watch, just to give my arms some length. It's a men's sweatshirt in size small but I love the oversized fit.

Mine are the string / metallic gold grain colour way (I tried to find a link to anyone else selling them and came across this one) Nike Sportswear Air Force 1 '07 Trainers |
So on Saturday I went into London with my boyfriend and we did some shopping (and by we, I mean mostly me, he did buy some Palace socks.) I was actually in the basement of Topshop in Oxford Circus when I saw these Nikes. For some reason I feel like I've never been down there before but I purchased these trainers there and then. I already own the Nike Air Force 1 All Black Suede trainers but I felt like going for something different (as previously mentioned, all my shoes are black.) These are perfect for spring / summer now the weather is getting warmer and I have less chance of ruining them.
I'm usually a size 7 but I recommend going down a size so the fit is a bit tighter. This is a great bit of advice and made a big difference to the look of the shoe on foot as they can come up a bit big. I wore the Nikes out Sunday and I have to say, they are incredibly comfy. I love the fit, the colour and the overall look. I'm loving beige so much that these are just perfect. I know I said before I wanted some all white trainers, but this was one of those moments when you walk into the shoe store, see a pair of shoes and you know you'll regret it if you never buy them. So I bought them!
I think mine were around £74 with student discount (sorry mum if you're reading this but they were totally worth it!) For anyone who loves beige these are the best shoe.
Anyway I have far too much to do after spending the weekend at home relaxing and celebrating my birthday. Genuinely.
My nails were done at Ooh Laa Laa Beauty and I adore them. I've never had acrylics before but it was £35 for shellac and acrylic, a special offer at the moment! Totally recommend them, I'm in love!

The combination of my final essay submission before my dissertation, attending a wedding fair for my project and coming to the crushing realisation that I graduate in a year has lead to me to a diet consisting largely of cereal. The amount of House episodes I've watched in the past two weeks makes me confident that I could transfer from Graphic Design to Medicine and be totally fine.
The highlight of my week was going to Asda with my flatmate. We walked up and down all the aisles...and it was a big Asda. We haven't seen that many types of cheese since we were freshers and I even excitedly told the cashier how overwhelmed I was to be there. I'm not really sure she understood but I really was genuinely happy to be there.
As for my essay - it's submitted.
As for the wedding fair - I don't think i'm getting married anytime soon, but we did get some free cake.
Genuinely just thought I saw Harry Styles out of my window in the street below, but no, I was wrong.
(Is it bad as a student to spend two hours on a Saturday night sat in McDonalds with your best friends instead of going out?)
I'm 21 in 4 days. Help.
